Considering last night's episode of Monday Night Raw was the fallout show to the Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) the night before, you would expect the ratings to at least remain steady with the 4.03 million viewers the show garnered last week, if not go up. That is the usual pattern, after all.
Not this time.
Indeed, last night's edition of Raw, which clearly established/continued the major feuds leading into next month's Payback event, averaged just 3.75 million viewers for all three hours. The hourly breakdown looks even worse:
Hour one: 3.82 million
Hour two: 3.85 million
Hour three: 3.59 million
Those are terrible numbers when accounting for the fact that the show aired one night after a PPV. Perhaps fans are finally fed up with Kane in the main event storyline? Or simply fed up with a fairly lackluster product?
You decide.
