WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR APRIL 27

BaconStrips here. Let's do this...

Seth Rollins comes out to lots of heat to start the show.

Last night, Randy Orton learned that he couldn't outsmart one Seth Rollins. That's right, the same Seth Rollins who built and destroyed The Shield and cashed in at WrestleMania.

Also, Seth Rollins beat Randy Orton all by himself......sure, Rollins. And he added the ultimate insult at the end: a SKO (proof that WWE reads this site sometimes). He then thanks Kryptkeeper Kane for doing what was best for business. The "Kryptkeeper" reference causes an awkward exchange between Kane and Rollins.

Kane takes the mic and congratulates Rollins before starting another argument. A Justin Bieber reference is made before the argument intensifies.

At this point, Randy Orton comes out. He addresses Rollins using the SKO, calling it an obvious cheat, and this somehow entitles Orton to a rematch. Rollins shoots this down, saying that Orton only had one shot at glory.

Orton tells Catwoman to shut up and starts addressing Kane. Before Kane can say anything, Roman Reigns comes out.

Rollins asks about why Reigns is outside, and Reigns tells him to "shut the hell up." Reigns says that Rollins is missing his giant, who was speared through a table and buried under another table. Roman WAS the last man standing.

Reigns says that Orton has had his title shot, and Reigns deserves a title shot against Justin Bieber Catwoman Seth Rollins. Rollins figures out a common denominator between Orton and Reigns: they've both lost against him, and they don't deserve a title shot.

Kane interrupts and makes a tag match: Kane and Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton and Roman Reigns. And for Payback? The WWE Universe will decide the contender.

Dolph Ziggler vs Bad News Barrett (King of the Ring Quarterfinal)

Fairly average match between these two that ends when Sheamus comes out and taunts Ziggler about last night. The distraction allows Barrett to hit the Bullhammer for the win.

Big E vs Tyson Kidd

Very quick match that sees Big E get the win with a clothesline...and Xavier Woods holding Kidd's ankle to prevent a kick-out.

Big E def Tyson Kidd

Ryback vs Bo Dallas

Before match, Dallas calls Ryback's actions "reprehensible" and gives Ryback a chance to be the bigger man by leaving the ring...that doesn't happen.

An angry Dallas gets in some offense early, but is stopped in his tracks by a huge spinebuster. Meat Hook and Shellshock ends it.

Ryback def Bo Dallas

As Ryback celebrates, Bray Wyatt comes out and delivers Sister Abigail.

See, brotherly love is a thing...even when your brother is a psychotic swamp cult leader.

Before the match, Cena talks about his match last night and gives Rusev props for not quitting...at least until Payback. As expected, Cena will not back down, and Payback will be he final chapter between the two men.

After some more of his usual thing, Cena issues his challenge. Today's victim: Heath Slater, who vows to become the new US Champion...yeah. As Slater goes on, a pissed-off Rusev comes from out of nowhere and attacks Slater.

Rusev demands the mic from Lana, then sends her backstage to the dismay of the crowd. Rusev calls the crowd "quitters", and Cena will join their ranks at Payback.

Backstage, Seth Rollins approaches Kane and asks about Kane's decision to letting the WWE Universe decide his challenger. Another argument starts with Rollins insulting Kane. This causes Kane to add a third choice to the WWE App vote: Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, or Randy Orton AND Roman Reigns.

Rollins is pissssssssssssssssssssssed

R-Truth vs Stardust (King of the Ring Quarterfinal)

Average enough match except for the ending when Truth hits Stardust with the Lie Detector as he is going for the Disaster Kick.

R-Truth def Stardust; advances to Semifinal

Fandango vs Adam Rose

Nothing special at all. Rose gets the win after Fandango is distracted by Rosa Mendes (disguised as a Rosebud).

Adam Rose def Fandango

After the match, Rosa says stuff until she starts making out with Rose...yup.

Renee Young interviews Brie Bella about Daniel Bryan. She says that he would do anything to compete, and the WWE Universe has been very supportive to him. Suddenly, Naomi knocks Brie down and says that no one cares.

Right then...

________________________________________

Brie Bella vs Naomi

Nothing to mention. Naomi got the win with a roll-up

Naomi def Brie Bella

Yep

Dean Ambrose vs Sheamus (King of the Ring Quarterfinal)

Fairly long and slow match that ends when Sheamus Brogue Kicks Ambrose on the outside. At that moment, Ziggler comes out like a bat out of Hell and attacks Sheamus, causing a DQ. Sheamus runs away as Ziggler chases.

Sheamus def Dean Ambrose by DQ

Ambrose is quite dissatisfied with the result.

Damien Sandow is in the ring. He talks about his three years in WWE and how his character evolved to what it is today: a quest to entertain the masses. He reminisces on some of his more memorable characters, including Damien Mizdow, a person that gained him respect with the WWE Universe.

He cherishes their respect, saying that he wouldn't be in the WWE without them. He starts wondering where he could go from here...and then Curtis Axel comes out.

Axel says that he can't stand people who try to be something else. Axel starts doing the "WHATCHA GONNA DO" thing, and Sandow starts mimicking him.

After some laughs and cheers, Axel kicks Sandow out of the Axe-Man's ring, and Sandow mocks that as well. Axel tries to attack, but Sandow replicates Hulk Hogan's punches and boot. He teases the leg drop, but delivers the Elbow of Distain.

This was great.

Bray Wyatt cuts a promo toward Ryback

Neville vs Luke Harper (King of the Ring Quarterfinal)

Pants. Off. Now.

THIS WAS AWESOME!!!!!!! Harper and Neville absolutely killed it in this one. They hit each other with power moves, but kept coming back for more. Neville got the win with the Red Arrow.

Neville def Luke Harper; advances to Semifinals

Amazingly awesome match.

Roman Reigns and Randy Orton vs Seth Rollins and Kane

This was a pretty good tag match for what it was. The end comes when Kane snapped following a few inadvertent moves from Rollins. He threw J&J Security and punched Rollins. Rollins is rolled back into the ring where he eats a Superman Punch and RKO for the win.

Roman Reigns and Randy Orton def Seth Rollins and Kane

Seth Rollins opponent(s) at Payback? Roman Reigns and Randy Orton. Seth is incensed at this result until he eats a spear from Reigns.
