WWE Raw ratings (Mar. 23, 2015): Viewers back up over 4 million for WrestleMania 31 go home show

WWE.com

Last night's episode of Monday Night Raw from Los Angeles, California represented the go home show to the upcoming WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view scheduled for this Sunday night in Santa Clara. And with three straight weeks of a viewership total under an average of four million viewers, WWE was hoping the nature of the show would help get over that hump.

It did.

Raw averaged 4.18 million viewers for all three hours, up from 3.91 million last week. The hourly breakdown is also encouraging, considering no single hour dipped below the four million mark:

Hour one: 4.17 million
Hour two: 4.34 million
Hour three: 4.04 million

The show was built around a face-to-face confrontation between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, the first time the two shared the ring together. The result was a tug of war over the WWE world heavyweight championship, a widely panned angle that failed to help build interest in their pending main event match at WrestleMania.

Nonetheless, that's the next stop, and at least they have some measure of momentum going in, right?

Right?
