WWE Raw ratings (Jan. 5, 2015): Did The Authority's return bring back the viewers?

WWE.com

After the big guns didn't work for the final show of 2014, WWE built a night around John Cena and some heel authority figures to try and raise their numbers for this past Monday night's episode of Raw in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Well, the ratings are in, and John Cena Appreciation Night starring Triple H and Stephanie McMahon helped.  But not a lot.

The show drew an average of just 3,763,000 viewers, up about 8% from last week's 3.45 million.  The hourly breakdown may take a little of the wind out of the company's sails, though, as unlike last week, the final hour was the weakest and showed viewers checking out based on what they saw rather than telling friends to tune in:

Hour one: 3.80 million
Hour two: 3.88 million
Hour three: 3.59 million

Can Daniel Bryan AND The Authority put all the pieces together for next week?
