BaconStrips here. Let's take an ambulance ride to hell

Show is live.

Recap of The Cutting Edge Peep Show from last Monday.

Hey, we get an actual opening theme this week.....and PYRO!!!

John Cena and the entire WWE locker room are in the ring.

"The Authority is back in power..." - John Cena

Cena then apologizes to everyone for bringing back The Authority, saying that he had no choice in this matter. As he tells everyone that 2015 will be a tough year, The Authority comes out.

Stephanie tells Cena that starting the show on a somber note is the wrong way to do things. She reintroduces the show jubilantly, telling everyone that The Authority is back to do things right.

Triple H takes the mic and tells everyone that they were right when the crowds would beg for The Authority back. The shows were going to hell, and there is one man to thank for bringing The Authority back: Seth Rollins.

Both Steph and Trips hug Rollins, who acts in his usual arrogant way, starting a "you sold out" chant.

Rollins starts by saying hello to Cena, and tells him "happy new year." Trips talks to Rollins, giving him an opportunity to make history. He then brings up Cena vs Lesnar at Royal Rumble, changing things up to add Seth Rollins into the match.

Translation: This is now a triple threat match between Lesnar/Cena/Rollins.

Steph addresses Cena and his actions from last week. She says that Cena showed that he REALLY knows what's best for business, and he will be honored for his actions.

Therefore, tonight is now "John Cena Appreciation Night", and attendance is mandatory.

Trips declares this a new era for The Authority, with no agendas or ulterior motives. Instead, everyone will get what they deserve one way or another.

Trips announces the first match of the night: Dolph Ziggler vs BAD NEWS BARRETT, and it's up next!

Michael Cole announces a few more matches: Big Show vs Roman Reigns, Ryback vs Seth Rollins, and the Ambulance match between Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt (first ever on Raw)

Dolph Ziggler vs Bad News Barrett (Intercontinental Championship)

The match is a stalemate for a little bit until Barrett takes control following a huge kick to the midsection. Barrett controls for a few minutes, but is suddenly pinned when Ziggler reverses Winds of Change into a crucifix pin

Dolph Ziggler def Bad News Barrett

After the pin, Barrett beats the ever-living hell out of Ziggler. As the beating concludes, Kane comes out to makes an announcement: the match was REALLY 2/3 falls. Kane forces a restart.

The match restarts, and Ziggler eats a boot followed by Wasteland. This allows Barrett to pin Ziggler.

Bad News Barrett pins Dolph Ziggler for the 2nd fall; Match is tied 1-1

Back from commercial, and Ziggler shoves the doctors out of the ring, wishing to continue the match. Bell rings, and Ziggler eats a boot/Wasteland combo, but Ziggler kicks out at 2.

For the most part, Barrett keeps control of Ziggler until Ziggler eventually starts a comeback with a dropkick. Too little is too late, however, when Ziggler eats a Bullhammer following a distraction from Kane. Barrett gets the deciding fall.

Bad News Barrett defeats Dolph Ziggler; gains the Intercontinental Championship

Recap of John Cena's first WWE match against Kurt Angle from 2002

Recap of the events from last week that are leading to tonight's match between Big Show and Roman Reigns.

Renee Young interviews Roman Reigns. He is asked about what to expect. Reigns doesn't know what to expect, but he tells us that Big Show can expect SuperReigns tonight.

Bray Wyatt cuts a promo, asking Dean Ambrose about his New Year's resolution. After bringing up Ambrose's father, Wyatt eventually tells Ambrose that their journey will end with Ambrose stuck in the back of an ambulance. RUN!

Total Divas won some kind of award for being the Best Reality Show of 2014...whatever

The Ascension vs These Guys

Before the match, The Ascension cuts a promo (shudder) talking about classic tag teams such as Demolition and The Road Warrior. The Ascension claims that they're better than all of them before....yeah.

STO. Fall of Man. End

The Ascension defeat These Guys

Rusev and Lana cut a promo. Basically, Rusev and Lana tell America to mind their own business. Only one man can lead the world to peace: Vladimir Putin

Roman Reigns vs Big Show

After a couple bunches from Reigns, Show retaliates with a huge spear for a two count. Show focuses on the "surgically repaired midsection" as the match goes on.

Reigns tries to get something going, but his comeback ends on the outside when Big Show hits him with some chairs, causing a DQ

Roman Reigns def Big Show by DQ

After the bell, Show tries to beat up Reigns with the stairs, but Reigns retaliates with a spear.

Recap of the opening segment, specifically when Seth Rollins was added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Royal Rumble. John Cena Appreciation Night is also reemphasized.

Nikki Bella vs Natalya

Before the match, Paige comes out to the ring and randomly hugs Natalya (while Michael Cole brings up the brownie incident).

Short match that ends via a distraction rollup when Paige throws Brie Bella into the barricade. Natalya rolls up Nikki.

Natalya defeats Nikki Bella via rollup

After the bell, Nikki attacks Natalya, and Paige attacks Nikki. Triple threat coming up?

Dean Ambrose cuts a promo on Bray Wyatt about their upcoming ambulance match. Both men are going to beat the ever-loving hell out of each other, but Ambrose promises to come out on top.

The commentary team gives a brief eulogy of ESPN's Stuart Scott, who passed away Sunday at the age of 49...fuck you, cancer.

Erick Rowan vs Luke Harper

There are guest referees for this: Jamie Mercury and Joey Mercury.

There isn't really much of a match here. Instead, it is more about comedy from Mercury and Noble screwing Rowan over due to their incompetence. Harper wins after the huge clothesline and a fast count.

Luke Harper defeats Erick Rowan

After the bell, J&J and Luke Harper beat up Rowan.

More John Cena Appreciation Night stuff. This time, they recap John Cena being drafted onto Raw in 2005.

Recap of The Usos regaining the Tag Titles.

A backstage segment between Naomi and Alicia Fox is shown. Alicia brings up Total Divas and Naomi being removed from the show. Alicia then attacks Naomi because reasons. Other women (including Emma) separate the two as the segment ends.

Recap of the Dean Ambrose/Bray Wyatt feud. The ambulance match is NEXT!

Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt (Ambulance match)

The match lasts about five seconds in the ring when both men take the fight outside and into the crowd. Eventually, both men get to the ambulance. Wyatt throws Ambrose in the ambulance, but Ambrose jumps out of it, kicking Wyatt in the process.

Ambrose pulls out two tables, but is stopped when Wyatt slams the door on Ambrose's knee. The knee becomes Wyatt's target as we head to break.

Back from break, and Wyatt is fully in control. He goes for Sister Abigail, but Ambrose is able to fight out of it, hitting a rebound clothesline after an uppercut from Wyatt. Wyatt responds with his own clothesline. Wyatt drags Ambrose to the ambulance, but instead starts throwing Ambrose into the stage.

A table is set up by Wyatt, but Ambrose recovers enough to dive from the stage to the floor, taking Wyatt with him. Wyatt throws him back into the ambulance, but Ambrose escapes after throwing a chair into Wyatt's face (where did they get this thing from?). Ambrose tries to get Wyatt in the ambulance, but Wyatt escapes and throws Ambrose down.

A backboard is used when Ambrose uses the ambulance to shove it into Wyatt's throat (revenge for how many kendo stick attacks?). Ambrose then puts Wyatt on the table and climbs the ambulance.

Wyatt plays dead as Ambrose tries to get the ambulance open. Suddenly, Wyatt Sister Abigails Ambrose into the ambulance door. With Ambrose down, Wyatt opens up the ambulance and starts dragging Ambrose in.

Ambrose isn't dead. He kicks Wyatt from the inside the ambulance. This pisses Wyatt off, so he Sister Abigails Ambrose onto the floor. Ambrose is then inserted into the ambulance, ending the match.

Bray Wyatt defeats Dean Ambrose.

Re-recap of the opening segment.

MizTV with Seth Rollins is advertised for SmackDown

The Usos/Naomi vs The Miz/Damien Mizdow/Alicia Fox

Usual stuff here. Mizdow gets cheered, Miz gets booed.

Honestly, this wasn't much to write home about. The women started the match, but the men were tagged in, and that was that for the women.

The rest of the match was pretty much the same as we've seen before. The end comes when Jimmy Uso is pushed into the ropes as Naomi is walking down the apron. This distraction allows Miz to roll-up Jimmy for the win.

The Miz/Damien Mizdow/Alicia Fox defeat The Usos/Naomi

Ryback vs Seth Rollins and Kane

Before the match starts, Kane comes out and forgetfully announces that this match is a handicap match.

The match starts, and Ryback is able to easily dominate both Kane and Rollins. This continues as we head to a break.

Back from break, and the heels are in control of the match. A long while later, Ryback makes a comeback and, after a brief distraction from J&J, meat-hooks Rollins. As Ryback tries to Shellshock Rollins, Kane pulls Rollins off Ryback. This leads to Ryback Shellshocking Kane. As Ryback finishes the move, Rollins curbstomps him. Another curbstomp leads to the win for the heels.

Seth Rollins and Kane defeat Ryback

Big E vs Adam Rose

Nothing match that ends when Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (disguised as Rosebuds) attack Big E, causing a DQ

Big E def Adam Rose by DQ

After the match, The Uppercats hit their finisher (Ricola Bomb/Blockbuster) on Big E

The Authority comes out for the celebration of John Cena or something (honestly, I'm really tired and close to checking out, so there you go).

Steph is proud to be a part of this celebration, and introduces the savior of The Authority: John Cena.

The man of the hour comes out to the ring, and he looks pissed. Trips goes for a cheap pop, and the crowd couldn't care less.

To start the celebration, Trips takes us back to last week when Cena was coerced to bring back The Authority. He then mocks the way Cena says "I BRING BACK THE AUTHORITY!"

Steph proclaims that John Cena is her hero for giving The Authority their power back. Trips takes the mic and talks about how Cena has changed over the years from the arrogant rapper to what he is today. Trips also says that last week, he started to see a different John Cena; one that doesn't abide by "hustle, loyalty, and respect"

Trips is about to hand Cena the mic, but takes the mic and starts to introduce some people: Ryback, Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler. You got it: it's Team Cena from Survivor Series, and they do not look happy.

Trips welcomes them to Cena Appreciation Night, and says that they proved their admiration to Cena by joining Team Cena. There was going to be no punishment for joining Team Cena...until The Authority came back.

The consequences are discussed. Rowan could get 30 days suspension, Ryback could get 60 days suspension, Ziggler could get 90 days. The Authority steps away for some discussion, and Team Cena starts discussing stuff.

The punishment: Rowan, Ryback, and Ziggler are all FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRED!

Who's to thank? John Cena...renaissance man.

Some celebratory music starts playing as Cena looks on in horror.

The show ends with confetti and stuff flying
