Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way out to the ring.
Heyman takes the mic, and immediately appears terrified of Brock Lesnar, who immediately takes the mic.
"I'm here to fight. Seth Rollins, get your ass out here baby."
Lesnar tells Rollins that he has ten seconds to get to the ring, but Rollins doesn't come out.
Instead, Triple H comes out to the ring.
"Brock, Paul, I get it, alright?"
Trips claims that he understands why Brock is pissed. However, he brings up the fact that Rollins was suplexed first. He tries to defuse the situation by offering Lesnar a steak and having a conversation with Heyman like businessmen.
Brock responds with a question: "Are you here to fix this, or are you here to fight?"
As Trips and Lesnar stare into each others' souls, Stephanie McMahon, Big Show, and Kane come out. Steph is almost desperate in her attempts to calm The Beast.
Lesnar is unmoved until Seth Rollins comes onto the Trinitron (haven't used that one in a while). Rollins tells Lesnar to calm down and be patient until Royal Rumble.
Heyman retakes the mic and begs The Authority to "put a leash on their puppy" until Brock fixes things on his own. Heyman starts promising that Lesnar will retain
John Cena comes out with his gaudy new shirt on. He briefly brings up the match on Sunday, then turns his attention to The Authority. He says stuff until promising that he will win on Sunday.
After a juvenile insult, Cena starts to leave, but Stephanie tells Cena to stop in his tracks. She proclaims this a turning point in Cena's career, and this is due to Cena lying to each and every one of the fans for bringing The Authority back. She also references the firings of Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Erick Rowan, and that Cena is completely responsible for this.
Steph says that no one wants to cheer Cena because he isn't the man he used to be anymore. Rollins starts to taunt Cena by calling him a loser. Rollins then says THE line: Everyone thinks John Cena is a failure except for John Cena.
After more talking, Cena has an idea for the match at Royal Rumble: if Cena wins, the fired people are brought back. Trips shoots this down, saying that Cena absolutely failed at his attempt last week.
Trips gives John Cena an opportunity: a match, and if he wins, the three people come back. However, if Cena loses, the people stay fired, and Cena loses his title shot at Royal Rumble.
Who gets to decide whether has this match tonight? The WWE Universe.

Daniel Bryan vs Bray Wyatt
The beginning of this match mainly involves Bryan beating up Bray Wyatt, with both men eventually ending up the outside. As Bryan starts a Yes chant outside, Kane comes out. This sends us to a break.
Wyatt is in control as Kane reclines in a ringside chair. Wyatt works the living hell out of Bryan's neck for a good while. As we go to break, Wyatt nearly decapitates Bryan with a massive clothesline that would make JBL proud.
After we come back from the second break, Bryan quickly rallies back with some corner offense, including a huge frankensteiner. This prompts a "This is awesome" chant as Bryan goes for his trademark kicks. As Bryan's comeback continues, Kane pulls Bryan off the apron as the ref is distracted. When Bryan is thrown back into the ring, Wyatt brutally whips Bryan into the corner. Sister Abigail for the pinfall.

After the bell, Kane chokeslams Bryan and starts beating the crap out of him.

Apparently a "Legends Panel" involving Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Shawn Michaels iscoming soon.
Backstage, Triple H is talking to someone when Scott Hall and Kevin Nash join him. After a brief exchange, Shawn Michaels comes in to complete The Kliq. Michaels gives a suggestion to Trips: bring back the fired people and torment them.
As they go on, X-Sandow and X-Pac do a crotch-chop off. The Miz comes in to ruin it, saying that X-Sandow is HIS stunt double.
As Miz leaves, Trips drops his head in shame.

Byron Saxton is in the ring to host this Legends Panel.
After the legends are introduced, Byron starts the questioning with whether Cena should have the chance to bring back the fired ones. Shawn say "yes", Flair says "no", and Hogan says "definitely yes"
Saxton talks to Flair about his win at Royal Rumble 92, and Flair gives us a quick trip down memory lane, giving nods to Michaels, Hogan, Undertaker, and Randy Savage.
Saxton focuses on Michaels and his consecutive Rumble wins. Michaels says it's the epitome of "what's in the future?" Basically, there would be no "Mr. WrestleMania without the Royal Rumble."
Saxton talks to Hogan about his Rumble wins. Hogan says that he remembers the competition about the Rumble best of all. The bigger the name, the bigger the target. Oh, and Hulkamania helped Hogan survive the matches.
Saxton asks the big question: Who's gonna win this year? Michaels says Bray Wyatt, which prompts an exchange between Michaels and Hogan (SummerSlam 2005 reference!). Hogan says Daniel Bryanjack. Flair goes with Dean Ambrose...WOOOOOO.
Big Show interrupts the panel. He mocks the panel, complaining that no one picked him because they've always been jealous of him (HAH!). Show taunts the legends, calling them "washed-up has-beens" and some other stuff.
Big Show claims that he's gonna win the Rumble because no one dares to face him. Show then tells the legends to get out of "his" ring.
"Are you done?" - Flair.
Flair tries to beat Show, but eats a KO Punch for his efforts. This causes Roman Reigns to come out.
Show threatens Reigns, and Reigns retaliates by beating Show until he runs away like a scalded dog.

Renee Young interviews John Cena and reveals the results of the App vote. As expected, Cena is having that match tonight to get those jobs back (85-15). Renee asks for Cena's reaction, and he tells us that the most important part of WWE is the Universe, and they want to see Cena fight.

Bad News Barrett vs Dean Ambrose
Pretty good back-and-forth match that ends after a pretty good sequence where Barrett went for the Bullhammer and Wasteland in quick succession. Ambrose battled out and hit Dirty Deeds for the win.

New Day vs The Uppercats
The crowd couldn't care less for New Day.
Quick, decent match that showcases some creative offense from the Uppercats (double spike brainbuster?). However, it ends when Cesaro is rolled up by Xavier Woods. I missed what led to the roll-up.

The nWo come out to the ring.
Hey Yo!
Hall says that you really can't have a reunion without X-Pac, Kevin Nash, or The Bad Guy.
After a short survey with the crowd, Hall hands the mic to Nash, who starts talking about the nWo and their rivals.
X-Pac takes the mic and starts talking, but The Ascension interrupts to some big boos.
Viktor says that all he sees is just three old dogs wanting put out of their misery. Konnor says stuff before Viktor says that they are better than any tag team from WCW.
An "nWo" chant starts as both teams stare each other down. JBL takes a mic and starts ripping The Ascension...notice that he's wearing jeans.
JBL made a phone call to a certain legend, and Faarooq comes out...APA reformed!
The Ascension find themselves surrounded by the APA and nWo. Who joins the fun next? The New Age Outlaws.
Road Dogg sums it up easily: an old-school party don't stop.
After insulting The Ascension, The New Age Outlaws start beating up The Ascension. Konnor is tossed out, and Viktor eats a Clothesline from Hell (and sells it beautifully).
The legend teams stand tall.

John Cena's opponents are announced: Seth Rollins, Big Show, and Kane. The drummer is also fired

Paige/Natalya vs Alicia Fox/Summer Rae
Short, decent match that mainly sees the babyface team dominate the heels. Paige gets the win with the scorpion crosslock (I refuse to use PTO)

John Cena vs Big Show, Kane, and Seth Rollins
The match starts, and until the first break, Big Show and Kane maintain control of Cena despite a few offense attempts. Honestly, I'm not paying much attention to this one; it's hard to care about to this point.
Back from break, and the heels are still in control. After some good offense from Rollins, Show is tagged in. He misses a Vader Bomb, which allows Cena to rally back. Cena eventually hits an Attitude Adjustment on Rollins, but Kane pulls him out of the ring, where Cena is speared by Big Show.
Charles Robin starts counting Cena out, but Cena gets in at 9. Cena eats a chokeslam, and Seth Rollins lines up for a chokeslam. However, they become distracted. Why?
STING IS HERE!!!
He appears on the Trinitron as a seemingly still image. However, his music starts, and he makes his way out onto the stage. This distraction allows Cena to roll-up Rollins for the win.
John Cena def Seth Rollins, Big Show, and Kane
After the defeat, Trips is PISSED. He calls out Sting, but Brock Lesnar comes out instead. He makes a beeline for Seth Rollins, but Kane and Big Show get in his way. Both men eat F5s as Seth Rollins high tails it out of there.
This ends the show.
