Ric Flair WWE return scheduled for Monday Night Raw next week (July 14, 2014) in Virginia

According to multiple reports, the legendary Ric Flair will finally make his return to WWE on next Monday night's (July 14, 2014) episode of Raw, which takes place at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia.

Step aside, Sting, "The Nature Boy" is coming through.

(Sting probably wasn't ever going to be there anyway.)

In addition to Raw, Flair is expected to appear at the SmackDown taping the next night in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This could very well indicate that he's back for good after passing medical tests not long ago. He's got clearance and the full support of the boss, Triple H.

It's unclear if Flair has been removed from the house show at Madison Square Garden this coming weekend. As you can see in the picture above, passed along by Cagesider KevBarb, Flair was scheduled for the show before news of his pending TV return got out.

Stay tuned on that front.

Now to the big question: What will Flair be doing in a regular role on television?

It's been rumored for months that while his preference was to come back to work with Dolph Ziggler -- and he apparently pitched this to the powers that be and was shut down repeatedly -- he'll likely be paired with The Miz, who he was working with during his last run with WWE.

Hence Miz using the Figure Four as a new finisher. You know, because Flair "passed it down" to him, even if he sometimes can't apply it properly.

That said, Miz is now working a movie star gimmick with a emphasis on his good looks. He's also a heel who's been made to look awful in consecutive weeks by a returning Chris Jericho.

We shall see how this all works out next Monday night.
