Raw results: Sheamus set for WWE title Money in the Bank ladder match

Gallo Images

With Daniel Bryan having been stripped of the WWE world heavyweight championship, the Money in the Bank ladder match scheduled for the pay-per-view (PPV) of the same name on Sun., June 29, 2014) at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, will now be for the vacant title(s).

During tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw in Minneapolis, a qualifier match took place pitting U.S. Champion Sheamus against Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett.

I guess because they wanted to put over how much more important the main title is than the secondary straps.

Either way, Sheamus won a very good PPV caliber bout after the two went back-and-forth (with the crowd noticeably hot for the heel) to become the third participant in the world title match. Here's the list of who is in so far, with four more to come:

- Randy Orton
- Alberto Del Rio
- Sheamus
