Last night's (June 2, 2014) episode of Monday Night Raw from Indianapolis, Indiana, won the night on cable and got a nice boost from the lack of competition from any major sporting event or television program.
The show averaged 4.13 million viewers, up big from last week's year low 3.60 million.
It's not all peaches and cream, however, as you can see by the hourly breakdown:
Hour one: 4.03 million
Hour two: 4.48 million
Hour three: 3.93 million
That last hour hurts because, of course, that's when the big angle with The Shield happened when the group broke up after Seth Rollins turned heel and joined Evolution. Perhaps many viewers came back for the overrun but either way, it's unfortunate so many may have missed out on such an outstanding payoff.
Thank the Internet, right?
