According to a report from PWInsider.com, Ric Flair has been booked to return to WWE on next week's episode of Monday Night Raw in St. Louis, Missouri, which is the go home show to the Extreme Rules event on May 4, 2014, in New Jersey.
His reason for returning is unclear, and WWE hasn't promoted it officially, but it would seem obvious what his role will be. After all, Evolution reformed just last week and a match is scheduled next Sunday night opposite The Shield.
You shouldn't expect Flair to be added to said match, but he could absolutely slide into a managerial role if the plan is to keep Evolution around long term. That may not be the case if reports of Batista taking time off after Extreme Rules are to be believed, but anything's possible.
No word on if this will mean Flair will be back on the road on a consistent basis.
Excited?
