Daniel Bryan's dad dies but he 'insists' he will perform on Raw tonight (April 21, 2014) in Baltimore

Just a short time ago, WWE.com passed along word that current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan's father died recently. According to the report, Bryan was made aware of his father's passing after he returned from his honeymoon with wife Brie Bella.

It's not made clear when exactly his dad died, but the report also states "Bryan has insisted on performing for the WWE Universe tonight (April 21) and will be on Raw."

There's no such thing as good timing when it comes to someone dying. With that said, Bryan learned his father passed after an unbelievable two weeks that included his achieving his dream of winning the WWE world heavyweight championship in the main event of WrestleMania 30 then getting married to his longtime girlfriend, Brie, just days later.

He was off Raw last week to go on his honeymoon. When he returned days ago, he tweeted the following:
