Even the most jaded wrestling fan got a kick out of WWE Hall of Famer and hardcore legend Mick Foley's unexpected return to Monday Night Raw last night (October 20, 2014). We know that the bar on shocking returns has been set pretty high the last few years, with Chris Jericho hiding in tour buses and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's appearance in Brooklyn a few weeks back being kept secret from even the other wrestlers.
Mrs. Foley's baby boy took it one step further. For starters, even he was surprised to get the call, having just opined after Rocky's comeback that he was no longer a big enough deal to merit the same treatment:
Two weeks ago, I said I no longer meant enough in @WWE to be a surprise guest on #RAW like @TheRock. Thanks for proving me wrong!

His commitment to keeping the whole things under wraps even included his own family. And in some cases, that might not be that difficult, but when one of your kids is a wrestler-in-training and WWE superfan, it's no small feat:
WHAT!!!!!! DAD?!?!?! HE DIDNT TELL ME!!!!! I JUST JUMPED UP AND STARTED SCREAMING!!!!!

My heart is still beating so fast!!!!! That was the single best wrestling surprise of my entire life!!! AHHHHHH!!! I'm still freaking out!!!

Pretty cool, huh?
And while I said that the Mickster's return broke through many a smark's cynicism, it may not have enlarged the hearts of many Grinches, since Santa Foley used his Raw return to mark 300 straight days of donning jolly old elf gear:
Last night's #RAW was the perfect place to celebrate #FoleyIsSanta day THREE HUNDRED! Only 65 days left! pic.twitter.com/dnlrasCjl8

There's only one Mick Foley, ladies and gentlemen.
Have a nice day!
