WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR SEPT. 16

Rex here. Time to mark out with out snark out.

The New WWE Champion: Daniel Bryan, is out to start things off.

He starts to celebrate along with the crowd and out comes HHH.

He wants to talk about the fast count that occurred last night.  HHH says the win was tainted.

He demands Scott Armstrong's presence in the ring and Armstrong obliges.

He plays footage of Armstrong's normal count and the fast count side by side.

HHH asks Armstrong about it and he says he isn't sure what happened.

HHH won't buy it as Armstrong keeps saying he made a mistake.

Armstrong whispers "they got us Daniel" to Bryan and HHH catches it.

HHH jumps on it immediately and Bryan says he had nothing to do with it.

HHH completely vacates the title!  He won't return it to Orton and then asks Bryan to hand the title back over to him.

Just as HHH does this, Orton makes his way out and he is upset.

HHH demands they all calm down and proclaims there will not be a fight.

Bryan refuses to turn it over, so eats an RKO.

HHH gathers up the title and leaves as the crowd chants "Randy Sucks"

HHH and Stephanie in the back when Orton comes in pissed.

Stephanie gets in his face and says that he failed in the task set before him and that until he finds the Orton of old, they will have to find a new face for WWE.

Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler

In an excellent non-title match, Dolph Ziggler is able to finally earn an ounce of revenge as he picks up the victory over Ambrose.

Stephanie in the back with Big Show and she reminds him that he had been suspended.  She demands he stay in her office unless she calls for his help.

Fandango vs R-Truth

Fandango earns the victory over R-Truth in a match that was just kind of there.  Not good, not bad.

Dusty Rhodes is out now and he says he isn't there as the American Dream, he is here as Virgil Runnels.

He talks about hard times and the sorts.  It is a fun Dusty Rhodes promo and he says he isn't here to beg for a job for Cody.  He is here to make it so that Cody gets a chance to earn his job back.

He calls for Stephanie and she comes out.  She gives Rhodes a gift for Cody's wedding- a Bed, Bath, and Beyond gift card.

Stephanie says that she has a job offer for Cody........or Goldust.

Dusty says he can't choose.  Stephanie says its just him putting himself ahead of them once again.

Dusty tells Stephanie that she can go straight to hell.

"I am sorry you feel that way"- Stephanie as the Shield's music hits and they swarm the outside of the ring.

Stephanie calls for the Big Show and orders him to knock out Dusty.

Since Big Show doesn't seem to be willing to do it- the Shield arm themselves with chairs.

Big Show gives Dusty a hug and says he is really sorry and that he has to do this.

Big Show knocks out Dusty with the WMD.

An ambulance takes Dusty away to the hospital.

Layla, Aksana, and Alicia Fox vs Funkadactlys and Brie Bella

AJ and Natalya on commentary.

Bad match, bad commentary as the Total Divas crew wins the match.  Natalya's headset was busted for most of the segement.

Only redeeming thing was Natalya saying that AJ is "the title holder, but I was born a champion"

RVD vs Damien Sandow

In a pretty quick match, RVD got the victory with the five star splash.

HHH with Scott Armstrong in the back.

HHH says that he has to uphold the integrity of the WWE and thus he has arranged a severance package for Scott Armstrong.

Randy Orton vs The Miz

Randy Orton ambushed Miz before the match could start and just beat the ever living hell out of him in front of Miz's family.

He finishes the beatdown by wedging the Miz's head into a chair and hitting a top rope knee drop on to it.

Fantastic segment.

Heyman (who is in a wheelchair) is out with Ryback.

He says that he is now the Best in the World because he pinned CM Punk.

He just completely walks over the Goldberg chants as he continues his promo. Really good stuff.

Heyman states that Goldberg stood up when all other Heyman guys sat down and he owes his life to Ryback.

Ryback gets on the mic and says there is one thing he can't stand- a bully.

Ryback couldn't stand by as Punk bullied Heyman.

I love this so much.

Real Americans vs Usos vs Tons of Funk in a Tag Team Elimination Match

Tons of Funk eliminated first.

The Usos win and become number one contenders.

Fun match once Tons of Funk got eliminated.

BRAY WYATT VIDEO PROMO!

I will never get tired of those.

Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns

WWE apparently wants us to forget they have a good match going on will all the replays of last night they are showing.

An absolute fantastic match from Bryan and Reigns ends when Orton interferes in the match as Bryan seemed to be on the verge of victory.

Orton and the Shield beat on Bryan for a while and then Orton wedges Bryan's head into a chair.

Before Orton can strike, the faces launch a mass assault on Orton and the Shield!

Orton bails before the faces gets their hands on him, leaving the Shield to take a beat down from a good chunk of the roster.  They put up a valiant fight (including a monster spear to Kofi) but are eventually overwhelmed.

The night ends with the faces hoisting up Daniel Bryan as everyone chants YES! YES! YES!
