For months and months and months, it seemed our resident rumor monger Eric B. Stephen was writing about word around the water cooler having something to do with Christian and the fact that his return was imminent and the WWE creative team was even apparently tasked with coming up with something, anything, for him to do to get him back on television.
Well, he returned on last night's (June 17, 2013) episode of Monday Night Raw in Grand Rapids, Michigan, even if he didn't really have much of a storyline to come back to.
Indeed, Vickie Guerrero used him as a surprise return to spice up a show that featured her getting grilled by each one of her bosses within the McMahon family. All he did was get a solid pop, have a moderately good match with Wade Barrett, and pick up a pinfall victory.
We'll see where it leads to. If nothing else, all you Peeps out there can finally relax; ya boy is back.
