Raw results: Wade Barrett wins Intercontinental title back from Miz one night after WrestleMania 29

Well, this was certainly an interesting booking decision, though it's possible WWE made another last minute change and did this to appease the smark crowd at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, following the announcement that The Rock was injured and wouldn't be appearing on the show.

Wade Barrett, just one night after losing the Intercontinental championship to The Miz on the pre-show at WrestleMania 29 last night (Sun., April 7, 2013) at MetLife Stadium, won it right back from him on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw.

Yes, that actually happened.

The crowd was firmly in Barrett's corner all throughout, frequently chanting "Let's go, Barrett" while booing Miz's every move. They popped big for the finish, too, heaping praise on the now three-time Intercontinental champ.
