Well, that was an interesting episode of Monday Night Raw, no?
Paul Heyman attacked Mr. McMahon with his own crutches. Brock Lesnar then came out to take some hits "the hard way" at the hands of Vince's son-in-law Triple H, before he could ever reach the chairman. Lesnar and Trips had a bloody brawl that ended with HHH showing his cojones and standing tall in the ring with a metal chair in hand.
CM Punk cut a decent promo on John Cena but the highlight promo of the night was when MizTV featured Zeb Colter with Jack Swagger taking on Alberto Del Rrrrrio and Roberto on the mic in what would be an impressive effort from the Champion.
Dolph Ziggler sold like a pro for the Ryback, in a short but entertaining match, while Big E Langston and AJ Lee were incapable of assisting.
In additional action, Daniel Bryan and Kane managed to win a match against the Prime Time Players (yes, both Titus O'Neil AND Darren Young appeared tonight looking healthier than ever). The match was reminiscent of Roberts and Martel, as Team Hell No won despite D-Bry having been blindfolded while Kane had one arm tied behind his back. The insistence of the stipulations were made courtesy of the "Brickie Era" stars of Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero, in what was a fantastic pre-match exchange.
The Shield had an encounter in the ring when Sheamus distracted them just long enough to allow Randy Orton to perform a hit and run maneuver on Rollins before running back into the audience. Swagger then took it hard to The Miz while Colter stood ringside twisting his mustache maniacally. Although the Miz made some decent efforts, Swagger took the win and continued speeding his way to WrestleMania (April 7).
There was a lot that went down, with additional interaction between John Cena and CM Punk occurring in the final moments of the show, that was must see TV if ever there was such a thing. The live blog was jam packed with comments and excitement, so feel free to use this as your open thread to discuss everything that went down without crashing your browser.
