WWE Raw results, live blog for Dec. 9: The Slammy Awards, TLC go home show

WWE Monday Night Raw comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Dec. 9, 2013) from the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, featuring the go home show to the TLC pay-per-view (PPV) this coming Sunday night in Houston, Texas.

Advertised for tonight: It's the Slammy Awards! There will be plenty of big returns -- Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Mick Foley, and Eve Torres, among others -- and plenty of angles to go along with them.

Daniel Bryan vs Fandango

Results: Daniel Bryan wins by pinfall

Highlights:

• Early European uppercuts from Bryan
• The hometown crowd is eating up everything he does
• Bryan suicide dive to the outside
• Bryan with a whip to the barrier and then a running dropkick to follow it up
• Fandango using his knees to counter the flying headbutt
• Series of kicks from Bryan leads to a running dropkick in the corner and another series of kicks
• Bryan tries for a second running dropkick but Fandango dodges and follows it up with a slick power slam
• Fandango misses with flying leg drop, Bryan follows it up with a flying headbutt and running knee for the win

Booker T and Lawler are te hosts for the slammies.

They bring out the New Age Outlaws to present the LOL! Moment.

They are rocking the Dumb and Dumber tuxes.

They can barely get through their presentation.

The crowd chants for one more match.

NAO somehow finish their rambling.

They show us clips of the nominees:

Titus Puking

Vickie getting fired

Cobra charming

Rock concert.

After the break the winner is announced: Rock Concert.  Vickie accepted the award.

Results: Sandow wins by pinfall

Highlights:

• Just Sandow hitting his finisher.  Really quick and nothing match

The Shield rocking suits.

Ambrose says he knows he looks good.

Rollins says they will never see the Shield in this category.

Reigns speaks a bit but Ambrose cuts him off to introduce the nominees for Best Double Cross.  Reigns shoots a dirty look at him.

• HBK betrays Bryan
• Heyman betraying Punk
• HHH turning on Bryan so Orton can cash in

Kofi Kingston vs The Miz

Results: The Miz wins by pinfall

Highlights:

• Miz walking out after some boring action and Kofi following him up with the ramp to attack him from behind.
• Kingston slamming Miz's head into the ramp barrier before throwing him back in
• Miz with a roll up and grabs the tights to win.
• Super short, nothing match.

Eve Torres out to present the Diva of the Year award

Rhodes Bros, Big Show, and Rey Mysterio vs Rybaxel and The Real Americans

Results: Rhodes Bros, Big Show, and Mysterio win

Highlights:

• Mysterio with some early use of his agility to get Ryback all twisted up.
• Goldust working Ryback over early
• Mysterio with a slick hurricarana on Cesaro.  Cesaro sells those so damn well
• Goludst with his uppercut to Swagger and then no look knocks Cesaro off the apron
• Goldust and Ryback trading blows that ends with Ryback hitting some kidney shots in the corner
• Had someone at the door so I missed the rest of the match

He says a pithy line and suggest they name the award HBShizzle.

Sin Cara vs Alberto Del Rio

Result: Sin Cara wins by pinfall

Highlights:

• Crowd chanting Russel Wilson MVP
• A good sequence of from the two of them ends with Del Rio on the outside to avoid Cara coming off the top rope as the head to a early commercial break
• Excellent hurricarana from Sin Cara
• After a Del Rio comeback, Cara makes his way to the outside but Del Rio viciously puts him into the barricade befre making his way back into the ring to try to win by count out
• Cara made it back in 7 right into a snapmare
• Cara with an attempted sunset flip but ends up eating a dropkick counter from Del Rio
• Cara with a tornado DDT off the top rope
• Sin Cara Samoan Drop counter to the armbar attempt
• Swanton from Sin Cara for the win

Prime Time Players to present the Fan Participation Slammy.

Titus says that the fans reactions can help change the fate of a superstar.

Young is upset they are presenting without being nominated because they have a dance and chant.

The fans start chanting Millions of Dollars and PTP obliges.

• What's Up from R-Truth

Xavier Woods vs Brodus Clay

Result: Clay wisn by pinfall

Highlights:

• Woods with early offense that gets countered with a powerbomb from Clay
• Clay off the top rope for the win.  Yes those were the only two sequences that happened.

Miz to present the Insult of the Year.

He says they are all awesome.

Nominees:

• AJ Lee promo against Total Divas
• Apparently everything from Colter
• Heyman's various insults against Punk
• Stephanie laying into Big Show

CM Punk vs Dean Ambrose

Result: CM Punk wins by pinfall

Highlights:

• Everything.  All around fantastic match.
• The dissension between the Shield was ramped up big time.  Rollins and Reigns actually walked away from Ambrose near the end of the match when he got into a verbal spat with them.

Lawler being self deprecating about his heart attack before bringing out Foley for the Extreme Moment of the year.

Foley gives a nice speech about what moments mean to wrestling.

Nominees:

• Shield's destruction of Undertaker after his match with Ambrose
• Ryback spearing Cena though the set at ER
• CM Punk attacking Heyman at HiaC
• Wyatts destroy Kane

Wyatt Family vs the Usos

Result: Wyatts win by pinfall

Highlights:

• Usos send the Wyatts out of the ring early and hit a suicide dive and then it literally goes to break
• After the commercials Harper is rag dolling an Usos and taunting the other
• Rowan with some brutal power slams
• An Usos dodges a Rowan splash and get the hot tag in
• The tagged in Usos gets an impressive series of slams on Harper that culminates with a Samoan Drop
• Harper ties up the Usos and begins to slap him
• The other Uso makes the save but eats a forearm for his trouble
• Superkick and a splash off the top rope nearly gets them the win but Rowan makes the save
• Rowan then tosses the other Usos off the apron into the table but eats a superkick for his trouble!
• After the superkick though Harper with the lariat for the win!

Bret Hart out to present Match of the Year.

He says Match of the Year is one of his most cherished accomplishments:

• Undertaker vs Punk
• Rhodes Bros vs Shield

• Cena-Rock

Nattie vs Tamina

Result: Nattie wins by submission

Highlights:

• Nattie knocked AJ off the apron and locked in the Sharpshooter for the win early on

Stephanie and HHH out with all of the former WWE and WHC on the roster and some of the old timers.

Stephanie passes it over to HHH quickly and as soon as he starts to talk the crowd chants for Bryan (who is out there) for a good two minutes.  Henry even raises Bryan's hand.

"That's a lot of family for one building" -HHH

HHH then brings out the two men who are trying to become the "Champion of Champions"

Orton and Cena make they way out.

Orton talks about his legacy and pedigree due to his familial lineage.

Orton says that image means everything to Cena and Orton is going to be the cause of him losing the biggest match in WWE History.

He says that he will do anything and then says to Hart if he had been at Montreal he would have left Hart unconscious and a mess.

John Cena give the crowd what they want- Daniel Bryan.

He asks Bryan a series of questions about his familial legacy and how he had to work his way to where he is.

Cena says that is why people gravitate to him.

Orton going after Orton and he is shooting folks.

Cena is just dismantling Orton for being untouchable at the training center when they first started and all of his problems in and out of the ring.

He is just going to town on Orton.  Holy shit.

He is going about all the guys he has wrestled that people didn't want to give a chance like Ziggler and Punk.

He turns to Bryan and says that when he wins on Sunday- he can't wait to have the rematch with Daniel Bryan.

Cena says Sunday will just be another Orton excuse.

They shake hands as the belts raise in the ring.

They start brawling!

HHH ends up grabbing Punk's hair so Punk nails HHH.

HBK with a Sweet Chin Music to Punk!

Bryan with a flying knee to HBK!

Orton tries for an RKO but misses and knocks over Stephanie!

HHH hits the pedigree on Orton!

Orton cowering in the corner from HHH, Cena, Kane, and Stephanie as it cuts to black
