Brock Lesnar return and F-5 breaks Vince McMahon's pelvis, or WWE runs injury angle for the Chairman

Brock Lesnar returned to Monday Night Raw last night to F-5 Vince McMahon before the Chairman of the Board could fire Paul Heyman. Now, WWE is running an injury angle claiming McMahon has a broken pelvis.

Kayfabe alert!

It looks like Brock Lesnar did more than thrill the masses with his impromptu return to Monday Night Raw last night (Jan. 28, 2013) in Las Vegas, Nevada, to F-5 WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon into oblivion.

If we're to believe WWE.com, old "Vinny Mac" now has a broken pelvis:

WWE.com sources indicate that Mr. McMahon suffered a broken pelvis as the result of Brock Lesnar's surprise attack at the conclusion of Monday night's Raw. ... After revealing some damning evidence that exhibited Paul Heyman's connection to both Brad Maddox and The Shield, the WWE Chairman had made up his mind to fire Heyman in front of the entire WWE Universe. But just as Mr. McMahon was about to send Heyman packing with two notorious words, Brock's music reverberated throughout the arena and the hulking behemoth laid out Mr. McMahon with a crushing F-5, which appears to have inflicted serious injury on the WWE Chairman.

It should be noted that in the video on WWE.com, which you can check out by clicking here, Stephanie McMahon makes an appearance. As we've mentioned time and again, Lesnar's return to likely to lead to a rematch with Triple H at WrestleMania 29, so expect "The Game" to come back to defend his father-in-law or some such storyline.

That may not sound like what you want but I'll be damned if Brock's return and the big reveal that Heyman has been working with Brad Maddox and The Shield wasn't a great segment that should make for some compelling television going forward. We're spoiled right now, Cagesiders.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

For good measure, let's take another look at the F-5 Lesnar delivered to McMahon.
