Video: Miz botches figure four leglock on Dolph Ziggler on Monday Night Raw

The Miz somehow managed to botch the figure four leglock Ric Flair "passed down" to him on Monday Night Raw last night (Jan. 21, 2013) against Dolph Ziggler. See it and feel uncomfortable right here.

Mistakes happen in pro wrestling. We call them "botches" and it's a fitting word to use to describe follies like the one you will see at the 1:25 mark in the video above.

Recently, Ric Flair returned to WWE and its flagship program, Monday Night Raw. He ended up appearing on MizTV and during the course of the segment, he "passed down" his patented figure four leglock submission finisher to The Miz. Many felt he was undeserving of this honor but whatever, that's the route WWE went with it.

This wasn't just some simple segment we were supposed to quickly forget about either. WWE.com ran a gigantic article putting over Miz adding the move to his repertoire. A quote from that article:

"I'd love to keep using it, as long as it's OK with Ric Flair. I think it is [OK], because he's the one that actually told me to do it. I think of it as an homage to Ric Flair, and to keep his legacy alive, I'll keep doing it."

He used it, alright. And the result was the eye sore you see in that video. This was during his match with Dolph Ziggler -- who sold for him like a trooper, by the way -- on last night's episode of Raw in San Jose.

What's there to say, really?
