This would certainly deal a near fatal blow to the WWE Divas division.
According to a report from PWInsider.com, current Diva's Champion Eve Torres will be dropping her title to Kaitlyn on tonight's (Jan. 14, 2013) 20th Anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw in Houston before leaving the company.
That would put her next on the growing list of ladies departing WWE over the past year, right alongside Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Kharma, and Nikki and Brie Bella.
Recently, Torres was engaged to be married to Rener Gracie, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor from the famous Gracie family. Eve has become a spokeswoman and head instructor a self-defense program using the same name and at 28-years-old and on the cusp of starting a family, may want to ease off the brutal schedule wrestling with WWE demands.
It's unclear if she will be retiring or simply going on hiatus. Either way, she's following so many other women on the way out the WWE door.
Sad?
