"The King" is back.
WWE announced tonight (Oct. 29, 2012) on Monday Night Raw that Jerry Lawler would return to his ringside announce desk next to Michael Cole on the Nov. 12 edition of the show in Columbus, Ohio.
That happens to be the go home show to the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
This is quite the comeback for Lawler, who will return to his active job duties traveling across the country just two months removed from a massive heart attack that nearly took his life back on Sept. 10 in Montreal. Had it not been for the quick response and heroic actions of the WWE medical personnel on the scene, Lawler would have passed on.
Thankfully, that never happened and he's already coming back to work.
This likely means JBL and Jim Ross will fade back into the background, though WWE did not confirm as much just yet.
