There it is, ladies and gentlemen, the photo (coming by way of Justin Roberts on Twitter) so many of you were so opposed to seeing: John Cena and The Rock shaking hands with each other following their WrestleMania 29 main event match tonight (Sun., April 7, 2013) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
And though it's hard to see in the photo, Cena is holding the WWE championship he won by pinning "The Great One."
As Rock stated in the ring when he and Cena were having a conversation before shaking hands, he came back for this very moment and absolutely everything they have done has led to this, "The Brahma Bull" putting over the top babyface in the entire world and giving him a ringing endorsement on his way out.
Whether you agree with it or not, it was done well and was the right thing for business. As a fan, maybe you don't have to consider such a thing but for WWE, it's the only thing that matters.
Thoughts?
