The fued may have died down a great deal in the weeks leading up to tonight's (Sun., April 7, 2013) WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view (PPV) from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, but Alberto Del Rio defended his world heavyweight championship against Jack Swagger nonetheless.
And he came away with it still on his shoulder.
You knew it was going to go one way when Swagger wasn't even given a proper entrance. Or maybe it was because the show was running a little over on time with none of the big four matches having had their time in the spotlight yet.
Still, this match wasn't getting over in front of the live crowd, as they chanted "WE WANT ZIGGLER" halfway through, only stopping for a nearfall in the center of the ring.
Later, Zeb Colter and Ricardo Rodriguez got involved, each helping their respective wrestler. Colter tried to assist Swagger but ultimately, he tapped to the Cross Armbreaker.
