The Shield came into tonight's (Sun., April 7, 2013) six-man tag team match against Big Show, Randy Orton, and Sheamus having never been defeated since their arrival on the scene on the main WWE roster. Would that change at WrestleMania 29 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey?
You bet.
It was a typical six-man tag match early, with the babyfaces getting an advantage to start but the heels quickly taking over to get all the heat going for the inevitable comeback. It wasn't long before it turned into chaos, though, and bodies were flying all over the place.
That includes Orton moving out of the way of a Rollins suicide dive and nearly allowing him to get hurt in the process. Despite this, Rollins laid out for a surprise RKO off the top rope at the end of the match, but Reigns came in to clean up with a spear that Ambrose, the legal man, used to get the pin.
All while Big Show stood on the apron watching it go down without moving a muscle to help out.
This led to a shouting match between the two after The Shield left. Show then went nuts and hit the WMD on both Sheamus and Orton to a choruse of boos before walking out.
Another heel turn after he was kind of babyface. Nice.
