You didn't think Mick Foley's WWE Hall of Fame induction speech was going to go down without the legendary former champion creating one more memorable moment for the road, did you? Well, that's exactly what happened during his speech at tonight's (Sat., April 6, 2013) ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
As pieced together by those in attendance, here's what went down:
Foley talked about how he never beat Chris Jericho during his entire career. "Y2J," in the audience and in a playful mood, said "not once" in response. But he got up on stage, Foley hit him with an elbow, and CM Punk, acting as an impromptu referee, counted the 1-2-3.
The crowd at the Garden popped huge for it.
Arda Ocal is in the building and Touted video of it, though it's admittedly not the best quality:
Hilarious footage of @realmickfoley elbow dropping @iamjericho, @cmpunk making the count. Foley got his win! #WWEHoFtout.com/m/j26qir?ref=t…

To cap it all off, Punk threw up the "X" sign for Jericho.
That's a win all around, ladies and gentlemen, and it's no wonder USA designated an extra 15 minutes for the ceremony when it airs select highlights next Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET.
