Although professional wrestling is scripted and the outcome predetermined -- breaking news on that front, huh -- believe it or not you can still bet on who will win matches at major pay-per-view (PPV) events. Such is the case with WrestleMania 29 this Sunday, April 7, 2013, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
It's the biggest show of the year and of course Bovada would have betting lines for it.
Here's how everything looks right now (via SB Nation):
Those lines reflect the widely held belief that this is one of the most predictable WrestleManias in recent memory. The only surprising lines I see are for the tag team championship match, though word around the water cooler is that Dolph Ziggler, Big E. Langston, and AJ Lee are all in for sustained pushes post-'Mania, and The Shield vs. Big Show, Randy Orton, and Sheamus.
There have been rumblings that Orton could turn heel mid-match and cost his team the win but WrestleMania is traditionally a babyface show and it's entirely possible WWE could wait until Monday Night Raw the next night, which should have an insane number of viewers.
Outside of that, everything looks about right.
Any of you Cagesiders crazy enough to bet on this event?
