All Elite Wrestling returns on Sat., Aug. 31 for the last big event before the launch of their weekly live cable show in October. All Out, and the adjacent Starrcast III convention taking place all weekend in Chicagoland, is the big event of the weekend, as supporters, detractors, and neutral observers are all curious what “industry disruptor” AEW will do.
But it’s far from the only wrestling being offered up tomorrow. New Japan was actually first to plant their flag in the date, and their London show Royal Quest kicks off the day at 5:30PM BST / 12:30PM EDT. You can stream the show via Fite.TV, and we’ve got the card here (we’ll also have a live results post). To get you warmed up, though, NJPW has released a hype video for the main event between IWGP Heavyweight champion Kazuchika Okada and Minoru Suzuki. Narration is in Japanese. Whether or not you think that makes it more or less aweome is up to you (and if you say “less”, you’re wrong, but there are English subtitles to get you through anyway):
They’re also offering four Okada/Suzuki matches for free on their streaming service, and highlights via NJPWWorld’s Twitter account:
RoyalQuest approaching, check out @suzuki_D_minoru's epic war with @rainmakerXokada!!#NJPWRoyalQuest will be broadcast on New Japan World in September.

A short time after that show starts (7:00PM BST / 2:00PM EDT), WWE’s newest brand joins the fray from Wales with NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff. We’ve got you covered with the line-up for that here, and will have a live results post Saturday afternoon, too. That show will air on WWE Network, which is where this excellent Prime Target special premiered earlier this week.
If you want to get caught up on the story of the United Kingdom championship over the past several months, the rivalry between current titleholder WALTER & his Imperium faction and Tyler Bate & his British Strong Style mates, it’s worth a watch. Or even if you’re already caught up and want to get more excited for Bate vs. WALTER. Or if you just like really well done ‘Reality’ Era kayfabe documentaries.
These will get you ready for Royal Quest & TakeOver: Cardiff. Then those will get you fired up for even more wrestling from the Sears Centre!
Should be a heck of a day.
