Vice’s wrestling documentary series debuts tonight with ‘The Life and Death of Bruiser Brody’, but you can watch it now

The Viceland series Dark Side Of The Ring was announced in March, and makes it’s debut on the network tonight (Weds., April 10) at 9pm EDT. Just the fact it promises to be a high quality production from something other than WWE’s perspective has a lot of fans excited. That the hour long documentaries will examine some of the more controversial behind-the-scenes stories from the history of the business makes it even more intriguing.

Unfortunately, not everyone gets new media company Vice’s cable channel. And while it’s not clear if this will be the case for each of the six episodes, they’ve made the first available for free on their YouTube channel.

Check out “The Life and Death of Bruiser Brody”, above. Narrated by Mick Foley and featuring Dutch Mantell, Tony Atlas and Abdullah The Butcher, it looks into the stabbing death of Frank “Bruiser Brody” Goodish in the locker room of a 1988 World Wrestling Council show in Puerto Rico.
