Yesterday’s Instagram tease from Dave Bautista wasn’t just an excuse to show the former six-time WWE World champ in all his 1970’s inspired glory.
It was to hype the release of an extra from the upcoming home release of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, specifically a music video for the movie’s disco theme, “Guardians Inferno”, starring David Hasselhoff and most of the Marvel Studios film’s cast.
Which includes, as all fans who really wish Dave would come back to Raw and be Batista again know but totally understand seeing as how it turned him into a pretty big Hollywood star, Bautista as Drax.
And now it’s here, as you can see above. Guardians director James Gunn, who appears in the video, told Entertainment Weekly:
“Well, you know, people have asked a lot, ‘What is life about? What is the meaning the life?’ And I think people are about to discover that the meaning of life is the Guardians of the Galaxy ‘Inferno’ video that they are about to see very shortly...”
Watch the video and decide for yourself.
I’ll be over here chant-singing “Zardu Hasselfrau” for the rest of the night.
