Ahead of every UFC event, top stars fighting at the event participate in an open workout for the media a few days out from the show. It's usually a tedious affair, with nothing of note for fans to who aren't live and on the scene to take in.
That is until Josh Barnett was in the middle of his open workout ahead of his UFC on FOX 18 showdown against Ben Rothwell and he was attacked by a man wearing a mask. Suddenly, a pro wrestling match was happening and thankfully our friends at MMA Fighting had cameras rolling to catch it all.
Barnett, in addition to being a talented mixed martial artist, is a also well versed in the art of professional wrestling. For those who don't know, just watch the video and you'll learn straight away. I won't spoil the finish but it comes just under halfway through the video and you should stick around for the promo he cuts right after.
UFC on FOX 18 goes down this coming Saturday night and you can check out a ton of great MMA coverage on our sister sites at MMAFighting.com, MMAmania.com, and BloodyElbow.com.
