With Triple H in his corner, Seth Rollins is ten steps ahead of John Cena & Brock Lesnar

That's what the COO says about the man The Authority is backing in the Triple Threat for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at 'Royal Rumble'.

Hunter is back for his weekly address with Michael Cole, and you can watch it right here. In addition to reminiscing about when he beat The Rock on the first ever Smackdown and letting us know that Seth Rollins is as smart as The Cerebral Assassin, he also covered these topics in a brief five minute edition.

On Daniel Bryan vs. Kane tomorrow night (Jan. 15, 2015) on SyFy:

Daniel was coming off the most epic WrestleMania moment, maybe in history, proving to the whole world that he was supposedly this A+ player, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. I mean, you can't get any bigger than that...

And then he runs into Kane, who puts him on the shelf for eight months and proves to the world that he was exactly what we said he was, which is a B+ player.

You know - he's got to try and climb that mountain again. And he's gonna start with Kane.

On whether Rollins made a statement or mistake on Monday Night Raw:

Did he make a statement? Do you need to ask that?

...maybe the Beast was already awake, because the way I recall it from standing there in the ring - Brock Lesnar ran over, grabbed John Cena and German Suplexed him, then grabbed Seth Rollins, and German Suplexed him. Anything that happened after that was payback, in my opinion.

I think what Seth Rollins did was prove he belongs in that ring. Maybe for the first time, John Cena is looking at Seth Rollins differently. Maybe for the first time, Paul Heyman is looking at Seth Rollins differently, because, Paul, I know Paul has...his opinion on a triple threat match. Sure it doesn't favor the champion, but triple threat matches have existed in the WWE for a long time. It's part of being a champion. It's part of being the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. If Brock Lesnar has a problem with that, than that's Brock Lesnar's problem.

What you're gonna see, I think, is the dawning of the future/ While John Cena is undoubtedly John Cena, and Brock Lesnar is the Beast Incarnate and probably the biggest monster the WWE has ever seen - Seth Rollins is something different. Seth Rollins is something different all together. Something these guys have never seen, at least not for a long period of time.
