In part two of his interview with Global Force Wrestling (check out part one here), Mick Foley is back talking about independent pro wrestling, from how he broke into the business wrestling in front of 26 people, to talking about CM Punk walking away from WWE after losing his drive to be the best that he could be.
He uses Punk losing his drive to segue into how wonderful it is to see so many up-and-coming independent wrestlers who still have that drive to succeed and know that it can be done because of guys like Punk, who worked from the bottom all the way up to the tip top of the mountain.
Here's your reminder that Foley brought word yesterday that he'll be making a "major announcement" regarding his future tomorrow afternoon. These interviews with GFW have fueled speculation that he'll be working with Jeff Jarrett to get his start up promotion up and off the ground, but we'll have to stay tuned for all that.
