Video: Roman Reigns' bizarre interview 'via satellite' from Raw

This was odd.

WWE spent an entire week building up Roman Reigns returning to Monday Night Raw this week for an interview updating his status following his surgery to repair a hernia just over two weeks ago. There was confusion over whether he would be live and in the building and that may have been the plan at one point, but they ultimately decided to have him do the interview "live via satellite".

The result is what you see above.

Here's what he said:

"Things are doing a lot better. The doctors are happy with my progression. I'm feeling a lot better, I'm able to move around a little bit more. With feeling better, it's situations like this that kind of sucks. I would rather be there with you guys in Brooklyn but I know it's only a matter of time. I'm just counting the days down to when I'm strapping that vest back on and I'm right there in the middle of the ring vibing off the energy of the crowd and kicking everybody's ass. And with the right attitude, focus, and a positive attitude, that's going to happen a lot sooner rather than later, you can believe that."

There's a point in there where it looks like he gets lost, tries to recover with a few buzz words, ends up repeating himself, and generally looks uncomfortable with the entire thing. Somehow, it still managed to come across overly scripted and disjointed.
