The show opens with Josh Mathews. (Don’t be surprised.)

He says that this company won’t bully announcers. He says he has the breaking news for JB and an office stooge will tell him. A man says he’s representing the human resources department when Mathews takes the mic and says he’ll do him itself. He says that Borash is being removed from the announce desk and suspended effective immediately.

JB is escorted out. As he is leaving Pope whispers into Jeremy’s ear.

Josh Mathews takes his place on commentary.

Trevor Lee (w/Shane Helms) vs. Matt Sydal (!!)

Lee ambushes Sydal as the bell rings, clearly pissed after losing his title last week. Sydal lands a kick pretty quickly and then a couple more to force Lee out of the ring. When Sydal jumps the ropes and lands on the apron, Helms knocks him off the apron while Lee slides into the ring to distract the ref.

This allows Trevor to take the advantage of the former Evan Bourne.

Lee starts talking some trash to the downed Sydal and Sydal pops up and hits a spinning heel kick. He goes for a standing moonstault but Lee rolls him up for a 2 count. The former champ goes for a jumping knee but Matt blocks it and hits a standing moonsault. He goes for a pin and Helms jumps on the apron to distract the ref.

This ends up with Sydal hitting Lee into Helms. This distracts Lee, allowing Sydal to set Lee up for the Shooting Star Press and hitting it for the 1-2-3.

Karen Jarrett is backstage on her phone when Sienna walks up asking where this GFW Women’s champion is. Karen says the champ has a match tonight so she should pull up a chair to watch because next week, Sienna has a match with her.

EC3/James Storm segment

EC3 comes out to the ring. He sets up a chair in the middle of the ring, grabs a mic, and takes a seat. He says he has a message for the new regime that wants to “Ugh... make Impact great.” For the last 3 years, he’s put this company on his back and he doesn’t earn respect. He demands it.

He tells Bruce Pritchard that he took his advise and looked in the mirror and what he says was a “literal demigod” who ran roughshod over Impact for an eon. He has a message for everyone trying to take his spot, he will eviscerate them and send them back to the glory hole from which they came. He has a message for us, the fans. We can all kiss his privileged, perfectly round, bleached ass.

He then told himself that he will return to the glory from which he should have never left - the TNA champion. Because he’s the best.

And he has a message for James Storm. He says that Storms harkens to a past that he’s already destroyed. And he’s just an overrated piece of crap.

That gets the Cowboy’s attention, who walks to the ring with a purpose. He gets into the ring and Carter slides out.

Storm says he doesn’t blame him because he knows he’s just jealous. James says he knows that knows he can still beat EC3’s ass. Storm tells Carter if he wants to dance, get in the ring, because his family isn’t here to protect him any more. EC3 declines and walks off. Storm says he should be called EC-bitch instead.

That gets Carter’s attention and the two men brawl, with Cowboy having the early advantage. Storm eventually looks for the Last Call and has to retreat. When Storm follows him, he grabs a production member and uses her as a shield. Storm moves her aside and this allows Carter to kick Storm in the balls. Then he hits a One Percenter in the ring.

Carter grabs the mic again and says that he’s a Carter and this company needs him.

Eerie gets Storie in a Fireman’s and Ava rakes the eyes. Ava knocks the champ down and delivers some weak looking punches. CVE tries to fight back but Storie hits a side slam.

The two trade strikes in the center. The champ gets the challenger in the corner, gets on the 2nd rope, grabs the arms of Ava, and delivers a back stabber for the 1-2-3.

Von Eerie retains.

Moose goes back on the offense with a headbutt and a chop. Davey responds with a kick. But Moose with a bigger one!

Moose wins the round by split decision

Davey makes his way back in and Moose situates him on the top rope. He goes for a superplex but Davey fights out. Sunset Flip powerbomb from the top! Running kick ot the head! Davey goes up top... Double Stomp! 1-2-Kick out!

Now it’s Bahh and Wilcox. Bahh hits a plash in the corner but Wilcox no sells it. He follows him out and stands behind him without Bahh realizing it. Wilcox picks up Bahh and hits him with a big Samoan Drop. Both members of VOW tee off on Bahh. Bokara tries to help but gets knocked out of the ring.

Mayweather is tagged in and they hit a high low on Fahh... but Bokara breaks it up. Both members deliver a double suplex to Mayweather but he also no sells it. They defeat Bokara with a double team that looks like an inverted Magic Killer.

Veterans of War win

Mayweather grabs a mic and introduces themselves to the crowd. He says he’s served two tours in Iraq. Wilcox is a marine who did a tour of Iraq and one of Afghanistan. They did it because they felt it was their duty to serve. Even though they’re separated from the military, the warrior in them still thrives. Apparently during the break, Swoggle attacked Spud with a hammer from panting him earlier.

Eli Drake is backstage with Tyrus. He’s griping about how they weren’t on the live episode last week. He’s upset with all the people coming in and getting free title shots. Patron gets to wrestle for the championship but not him? He says he’s going to take care of this and make something happen.

Abyss, who had been take out briefly outside, goes for a double chokeslam on both men. They fight out but he delivers a double clothesline instead. Steve and Abyss go for weapons under the ring as Impact goes to break.

When Impact returns, there are two barbed wired boards set up in the corners and a table. Abyss was about to chokeslam Ortiz through the table when Homicide hit the big man with a steel chair. Steve comes back and goes at Ortiz but he gets tossed hard face first in the corner. Ortiz grabs a garbage can and takes it to both members of Decay. Soon, Santana joins him in the ring and they work over Decay.

As LAX maintains the advantage, someone slides a bag full of tacks into the ring. Steve is about to take a double Superplex but Abyss tosses them off of him and Steve hits a bodyblock on both men from Abyss’s shoulders. Double chokeslam Abyss!
