The above video is a simple interview TNA did with Josh Mathews, who does play-by-play commentary, for its YouTube talking about his first day on the job. In it, he gives this amazing quote:
"Wrestling announcing, to me... I make no bones about it that I think I'm the best play-by-play announcer in the world. There's nobody that can touch what I do out there. To me, that's always been super easy."
That is such a dumb thing to say that even people who work alongside him, like Jeremy Borash, spoke out against it, leading to an ongoing Twitter beef.
No one will ever question your credibility after the "I believe I am the greatest play by play announcer in the world," quote. Good for you. https://t.co/6nI1NGSIBn

Go fly your drone. https://t.co/65CltHzj5S

I will. The difference between you and that drone? One is a super over personality on a wrestling show... and the other is an announcer. https://t.co/PUC0JOkflu

Don't worry @JeremyBorash after WWE, ROH, Lucha, NJPW, NOAH & any other company fires like 10 announcers, you'll get your chance! https://t.co/y7EPXuhUYn

Amazing.
