TNA Impact ratings (Feb. 9, 2017): Numbers take a big drop

Impact Wrestling YouTube

The viewership totals and ratings are in for last night’s line up (Feb. 9) and TNA Impact’s ratings have significantly dropped. The viewership total was down to 252K (from 299K). The rating dropped to 0.05 from 0.07, where it had been for a month. This is the first time in a while that Impact had fallen out of the top 150 cable shows.

Well there’s goes my theory on Impact ratings not changing despite what is advertised.

These are poor numbers. They had advertised a title rematch between Eddie Edwards and Bobby Lashley, though that was a match fans have seen plenty before. They also advertised a vague new mission for the Broken Hardy brothers, but didn’t get into the specifics, including the teleportation.

There’s nothing major advertised for next week, though they jump started many new stories this week so they will be following up on that.

  • This week: 252K / 0.05
  • February 2: 299K / 0.07
  • January 26: 307K / 0.07
  • January 19: 310K / 0.07
  • January 12: 277K / 0.07
