Billy Corgan joined The Dan Le Batard Show today to discuss the future of TNA and whether or not fans can expect to tune into the Bound for Glory pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for this coming Sunday night in Orlando.
When asked if WWE might swoop in to purchase the company, Corgan said he’s not aware of that happening — and he would need to be, considering he owns a piece of the company — but if Vince McMahon decided he wanted to buy it “there’s nothing anyone could do to stop it.”
But, again, that doesn’t appear to be the case right now.
As for Bound for Glory, Corgan admitted he’s hoping for yet another miracle to ensure the company can move forward with current plans. That miracle has happened multiple times already, which is why he believes it can happen again.
At the moment, the company hasn’t been sold and everything is still up in the air, so for anyone hoping Corgan would provide some concrete answers during this interview, well, sorry.
