TNA Impact Ratings (May 31, 2016): Numbers take a slight dip

But they are still better than usual for the promotion.

Impact Wrestling YouTube

The numbers are in for Impact this week and after last week's record numbers for their Pop TV run, this week took a bit of a dip. Viewership totals for this week were 346K, down from 359K the week prior.

Even though the numbers went down, this is still a better number than normally posted for the promotion. Nothing major was advertised for this week, but it was an episode that saw the King of the Mountain title change hands. (It was an impromptu match given the nature of the Feast or Fired briefcase that Eli Drake used to win his title.) Of course, there's always the ongoing feud between Jeff and Matt Hardy, which reached peak ridiculous on Impact this week, to pique fans' interest. Plus with Slammiversary just a little over a week away, it would make sense that fans would tune in to see what the live Pay Per View is offering up.

Here are the numbers from the last month:

  • May 24: 359,000
  • May 17: 311,000
  • May 10: 280,000
  • May 3: 303,000
You can check out the video playlist and results from this week's episode here.
