Last week, on TNA Impact, they took no time to reveal the man tormenting Jeff Hardy with multiple version of his alter ego Willow. And that man was somewhat predictably Jeff's brother Matt Hardy.
Matt Hardy has been off TV for a few weeks after an I Quit match with his brother left him taking a stretcher out of the building, which was all in story. Two weeks ago, Jeff Hardy's alter ego Willow showed up to distract him in a match and then multiple versions beat Jeff up backstage. Matt returned last week to reveal that he was the man behind the Willows torturing Jeff.
The question coming out of it is was Matt's crazy appearance a one time thing or is this his character going forward. Looking to his twitter account, it definitely looks to be the latter with weird masterpieces like this one.

It's tough not to have a good laugh at this absolutely outrageous picture, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just because the introduction of this angle between brothers didn't have a good start last week doesn't mean it's not going to be fun in some sense. Sure, it's not going to be a super serious feud when you have pictures of Matt taken from the living room of the Munster's mansion, but it can still be fun enough to enjoy or chuckle along with.
Matt Hardy proved that he can make an over the top heel gimmick work when he became Big Money Matt earlier this year. Time and time again, his promos were hilarious with his delusional rantings and hyper-inflated ego. If he's going to embrace this 100% like it looks like he's going to, it's definitely possible he brings us all on board with him. We'll just have to wait and see.
Strap in, folks, because it is going to be a weird and wild ride for the Hardy brothers.
