TNA Impact Ratings (May 17, 2016): Viewership increased this week

Willow equals ratings! OK, it was probably the advertised TNA title match.

TNA Wrestling Twitter

The brief ratings slide TNA Impact was experiences halted last night as the viewership went up this week. Numbers jumped from 280K last week to 311K this week, according to ShowbuzzDaily. The ratings number stayed at 0.08.

This week's Impact had an advertised World Title match between Drew Galloway and Bobby Lashley, and title matches usually will get more eyes on the program. They also advertised a confrontation between Jeff Hardy and his alter ego Willow, who turned out to be Matt Hardy, so one could also say the advertised presence of Willow is a big ratings draw. (It was the title match)

They don't have anything major advertised next week for Impact yet, so we'll see this was a brief spike because of the TNA Title match or if they can keep it above the 300K mark heading into Slammiversary in June.

Here are the ratings for the past month.

  • May 10: 280,000
  • May 3: 303,000
  • April 26: 332,000
  • April 19: 312,000
