The viewer totals and ratings numbers are in for last night’s (Dec. 29) line up. While TNA Impact still did clip show numbers, this week’s clip show, which focused on Matt Hardy, did a bit better than last week’s, that focused on Impact in general. 224K people tuned in (up from 209K) and the ratings figure was 0.06 (up from 0.04).
These still aren’t good number’s for TNA, but expectations aren’t high for clip shows. This episode had the benefit of not only focusing on Matt Hardy’s wild world, the most popular aspect of TNA, but showing about 20 minutes of new footage. This included Matt Hardy restoring Jeff Hardy’s essence and a volcano announcing the sex of Matt and Reby’s new baby.
Next week, TNA is back live with two title matches including one involving the TNA title. The numbers should jump back to their normal numbers then.
Here are the numbers for the last month:
- This week: 224K / 0.06
- December 22: 209K / 0.04
- December 15: 329K / 0.1
- December 8: 303K / 0.07
- December 1: 338K / 0.08
