It was officially announced by TNA after its tapings last night (April 22, 2016) that Velvet Sky would be departing the company. Included in the announcement was a quote from Sky herself but she expanded on that later on through her Twitter, and she has nothing but good things to say:

That could change once she starts doing press, as it has with others before her, but she had a long, fairly successful run with the company and is leaving with little reason to bash her former employers.
Even if the promotion is in peril.
She makes no mention of future destinations but remember, it wasn't that long ago that Bubba Dudley was making it clear he wants her as the new Duchess of Dudleyville in WWE.
