After a somewhat embarrassing (and at least partially self-inflicted) ordeal with AJ Styles joining WWE, Dixie Carter and company are in the process of trying to lock up other performers they see as key to their future and/or as "TNA guys".

First up, according to PWInsider, are current tag champs The Wolves. Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards came to Impact Wrestling after exiting Ring of Honor (ROH) and an unsuccessful NXT tryout. Both men were ROH World champ in addition to their pairs success - a track record that has continued in the tag ranks at TNA, where Edwards & Richards have captured gold five times in two years since joining the company in 2014.

The reports says that The Wolves will be exclusive to TNA, but that the company may book them with independent or international promotions.

Carter hopes to announce several such signings in the coming days and weeks as a show of the company's strength and to demonstrate to TNA fans their commitment to putting a consistent product out after the move to Tuesday nights on Pop TV.
