Kurt Angle's Bound for Glory - and possible last pro wrestling - opponent revealed

One of the missing pieces for this weekend's TNA pay-per-view (PPV), Bound for Glory, was an opponent for Kurt Angle.

The show, which happens this Sunday in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been targeted for both the Olympic Gold Medalist's comeback from his latest neck surgery, and the beginning of a farewell tour. He has already stated that he will not re-sign with TNA when his contract expires at the end of this year. Given that he's also saying he'll take a break from pro wrestling - and his documented issues with getting a deal with WWE that both parties (and medical officials) could sign off on - there's a chance this could be one of the 46 year old Angle's final matches.

This morning via Twitter, Kurt announced that at BFG he'll be facing the same man he'll face in a steel cage match later in October, Eric Young:

Young was at the center of a power struggle between Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett for control of the company - an angle that took up most of the episodes that otherwise would have built to this weekend's PPV. We may find out more about how they plan to position their match on tomorrow's Impact Wrestling, but it's probably a mix of Angle defending the honor of TNA against a villainous turncoat and just two good pro wrestlers having an exhibition.

Luckily, EY's Big Show-esque iron-clad contract explains why he wasn't kicked off the show along with the rest of Team Global Force.

Here's the rest of the card, as it now stands:

- Kurt Angle vs. Eric Young
- Mr. Anderson, Abyss, Robbie E, Mahabali Shera, Tyrus, Eli Drake, Aiden O'Shea, Chris Melendez & Jessie Godderz in a Bound for Gold Gauntlet Match for a future World title shot
- Tigre Uno (c) vs. TBA vs. TBD vs. ??? in a TNA X-Division Ultimate X Title Match
- The Wolves (c) vs. Trevor Lee & Brian Myers for the TNA Tag Team Championship
- Gail Kim (c) vs. Awesome Kong in a TNA Knockouts Title Match
- Ethan Carter III (c) vs. Drew Galloway for the TNA World Championship
