TNA's Bobby Roode heading to Global Force Wrestling for title tournament

After last night's momentous episode of Impact Wrestling, one where a hyped Jeff Jarrett interview segment did little more than feature him saying "Global Force Wrestling" on TNA time again, Double-J's upstart promotion made a big announcement for their July 24 television tapings.

Two-time TNA World champ Bobby Roode is coming to Las Vegas, Nevada for the shows. And he'll be competing in the tournament that will crown Global Force (GFW)'s first World champion.

Unlike Magnus or James Storm, whose contracts with Dixie Carter's promotion were up, or his recurrent tag partner Austin Aries, who has signed with a talent agency and looks to well and truly be a free agent, Roode is still signed to TNA. His joining Jarrett for these shows does nothing - at this point - to further the heavily rumored invasion angle.

But it does point to a talent sharing arrangement, and will further speculation that the television partner GFW is taping for is Destination America.
