TNA is currently on its annual January tour of Europe, today stopping in Glasgow for a set of Impact tapings. During the course of the evening, a former WWE star made his debut for the promotion and Dixie Carter wasted no time letting us know about it:

The artist formerly known as Drew McIntyre in WWE, who was floundering as a member of 3MB before falling prey to budget cuts following the launch of the WWE Network, has found yet another new home in what has fast become a hugely successful run through the independent pro wrestling scene. He's made clear that his ultimate goal is to get back to WWE, so TNA will act as a pit stop, but he brings a relatively well known name at a time when TNA needs all the help it can get with Impact airing on Destination America to a much smaller audience than it was garnering on Spike TV.
