During a match with James Storm & Abyss at last night's Impact Wrestling Lockdown taping in New York, Jeff Hardy fell from the steel cage door, landing in horrific-looking fashion on the steel steps.
Hardy fell what looks like about seven feet and landed on his head/neck. Show reports indicate that he was able to finish the match, but had to be helped to the back. Officials were overhead saying he was unconcious backstage.
His brother, Matt Hardy, provided some updates to fans on Twitter:
Thanks for your concern, @JohnNevill11. Jeff's the toughest guy I know, but it's been a nerve-racking night. @THETOMMYDREAMER

Appreciate your concerns for Jeff.. Last night he was legit hurt but we won't know how bad until he has some scans done. That's the update.

Some footage is also making the rounds of the event. Here's that, with a warning that's not an easy watch:
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Charismatic Enigma. We'll update you as soon as we have anything else, Cagesiders.
