There's a really ugly situation going down in Ferguson, Missouri over the past couple days. After Michael Brown, an unarmed black man, was shot and killed by police, protests have raged on for a number of days. In response, police have brought in heavy artillery, shot tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters, and even arrested and detained reporters at the scene who were simply trying to do their job.
After seeing and reading about the situation, TNA star MVP decided he would travel to the city to join in the protests.
I've made up my mind. I packed a bag. I'm going.

Sometimes shaking your fist angrily at the tv screen just isn't enough.

No. I'm going to lawfully assemble and peacefully protest. My flight leaves in a couple hours. #Ferguson @jenmisstx @SarahJSmith1983

I'm bringing this. And, a "The Dude Abides" tshirt. Because "this aggression will not stand, man." #Ferguson pic.twitter.com/V4NthNP6UL

People of all races here in unity protesting. Volunteers handing out water and pizza. Chants of "hands up don't shoot." No police here.
