TNA held a press conference today in New York City to both promote its Impact tapings over the next several days at the Manhattan Center and make a major announcement.
That announcement turned out to be the date and location of the Bound for Glory pay-per-view (PPV), which will take place on Sun., Oct. 12, 2014, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

Details are sparse at the moment, but TNA has a working relationship with Wrestle-1, who helped put this together. Expect a heavy presence at Bound for Glory, the promotion's biggest event of the year.
And, of course, apologies to all you stateside fans who were considering attending the show this year and now have to travel all the way to Japan to do so. Because we're sure there were many of you and you're incredibly disappointed at this news.
Hey, at least it should make for good viewing on PPV, right?
Here's the official poster for the event:
It's also been announced that Team 3D will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the show.
This year will mark the 10th Anniversary of the annual Bound For Glory event and will certainly be the biggest and most exciting year yet! Additionally, it was revealed today that Team 3D will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in Tokyo as well! The most decorated Tag Team in history, Team 3D have done many tours of Japan and held the country's most prestigious tag team gold!
Excited?
