After it was decided earlier today that MVP's recent knee injury is too severe to allow him to wrestle Eric Young in the main event of the Slammiversary pay-per-view (PPV) this Sun., June 15, 2014, in Arlington, Texas, we were told to stay tuned for the announcement of a new headlining attraction.

The main event of Slammiversary will STILL feature @ShowtimeEY defending the title inside of a steel cage! BUT... in a triple threat match.— MVP (@The305MVP) June 13, 2014
The winners between @KennyKingPb2 & @AustinAries AND @fightbobby v @SamoaJoe will advance to the main event title match at #Slammiversary !— MVP (@The305MVP) June 13, 2014
All things considered, this is probably the right move for the storyline they're currently working as all five wrestlers have been involved with one another in recent weeks in a power struggle.
And, as MVP as stated, power is in money and money is gold and the heavyweight title is the prize, y'all.
Do you like the compromise?
