After it was decided earlier today that MVP's recent knee injury is too severe to allow him to wrestle Eric Young in the main event of the Slammiversary pay-per-view (PPV) this Sun., June 15, 2014, in Arlington, Texas, we were told to stay tuned for the announcement of a new headlining attraction.
It's here.
Courtesy of MVP himself:
The main event of Slammiversary will STILL feature @ShowtimeEY defending the title inside of a steel cage! BUT... in a triple threat match.

The winners between @KennyKingPb2 & @AustinAries AND @fightbobby v @SamoaJoe will advance to the main event title match at #Slammiversary !

All things considered, this is probably the right move for the storyline they're currently working as all five wrestlers have been involved with one another in recent weeks in a power struggle.
And, as MVP as stated, power is in money and money is gold and the heavyweight title is the prize, y'all.
Do you like the compromise?
